Birmingham City Council regarding consultation on their traffic plans for the city which include the Southside Access Strategy, we have arranged for a consultation event on *Thursday 18 July at 3pm – 6pm at The Southside Building

The City Centre Movement and Access (CCMA) strategy is led by the Transport and Connectivity service area. The consultation went live on Tuesday 9 July 2024, and will remain open for responses until Friday 16 August 2024.

This project proposes to bring about interventions in line with the Birmingham Transport Plan principles of transforming the City Centre and improving the environment. It builds on previous projects (known as City Centre Cells/Segments) to complete the city-wide traffic management arrangement, while prioritising public transport and active travel.

Please visit the Birmingham Be Heard website for further details about the project and to respond to the online survey: online or to discuss the project directly, please email connected@birmingham.gov.uk
